Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Foundation Award

This training course is offered as a follow on from the Muttamorphosis Puppy Socialisation classes, or for those who would like to attend training with their puppy but whose dogs are too old for Puppy Socialisation class.  It’s designed for puppies less than 12 months old and takes place every Tuesday night at Denton Burn Community Centre at 8pm.  The 5 week course, costing £75 in total, focuses on responsible dog ownership, with emphasis on enhancing the puppy/owner relationship through training and play.  The course covers socialisation between people and other dogs, basic puppy positions and puppy recall as well as handling issues and grooming.  Each week progress will be assessed through fun games and training with certificates/rosettes being offered on the last night.

Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award

Muttamorphosis Training & Behaviour runs this course on Wednesday evenings at 8pm at Denton Burn Community Centre. Designed for all dogs aged 6 months and older, or those who have attended our puppy classes, but wish to progress their training further.  During this 8 week course which costs £110 in total, dogs will be trained to walk on a loose leash, stay for up to a minute and work on an off-leash recall.  Dogs and owners will also learn about handling and grooming as well as responsible dog ownership.  The course will be taught through the use of clicker training and added fun and games will help dogs and owners to have fun while training.  Basic agility fun is offered on 2 of the 8 weeks to help dogs train and have fun, even while distraction is present.

In all our classes, places are limited to insure dogs get the attention they deserve and owners do not feel overwhelmed. As such, all courses usually book up in advance.  Get in touch using the contact form to enquire about the next start date or to book your place.  Please note: we can only accept fully vaccinated dogs.
